If I crush and snort a couple of these will I get high?I've used benzos recreationally before (oxazapam, diazpam, and taken xanax bars) However never by snorting them. I have heard that snorting xanax gives you a bit of a high and buzz? is that true?I was thinking of snorting 0.5mg tonight and see what happens. I'm a recovering meth addict trying to find substitutions of escape. no you won't get high. people have their "opinions" and say they get F'ed up on xanax by snorting them but xanax is NOT water-soluble so xanax wouldn't be absorbed through mucous membranes which makes snorting useless. the only xanax you will get in your system is the stuff in your nose that drips down your throat into your stomach leaving a horrible taste. it's a FACT not a opinion. and read the rules. drugs-forum rules say to not post threads that have already been discussed. search the forum first. The oral availability of alprozolam (xanax) is between 80-100% anyway, so there's really no need to snort it. It works just fine the way it is meant to be ingested Snorting will only fill your nose with fillers and binders - consider the size of the pill, and the amount in mg of the active ingredient....the alprozolam only represents a teeny portion of the tablet, everything else is junk.Do be careful, ok? The only way for a person to enjoy snorting Xanax is for them to have no tolerance, therefore the amount the gets through the membrane cause a noticeable impact on such person, the rest goes down the throat.However, if you have tolerance, snorting 2 pills of 2mg won't do much, if anything at all.
